Gary,

Lots of articles in the literature discribing anal incontinence as being much more common than we think after NSVD. I wish I could give you the references off the cuff but maybe some others on the list will. I know I've read these in our mainstream journals in the past 12 months. I've had 2 or 3 of these myself, most after delivering large babies.

As for the meeting I discussed a few weeks ago, it looks like it will be Nov 1-2 in Atlanta. The first day will be on Effective Management of OB-GYN Problems Under Capitation. The second day will be Business 101 for OB-GYN's. Hope to see you all there. Brochures should go out in a few weeks.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
