My practice - based on the last review on the subject I saw in the Cochrane database - is conservative management ( ie., no induction ) until 37 completed weeks for preterm PROM. My experience with this has been uniformily good - which obviously doesn't constitute hard-evidence.

What do others think and/or view the evidence ? Malcolm Griffiths MD,MRCOG,MFFP,Cert.Mgmnt Obstetrician & Gynaecologist Luton & Dunstable Hosp., LU6 2DT, UK. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
