I worked with another resident who had worked in an upscale lingerie shop. She taught me that many cases of focal, superficial, sharp, (usually outer perimeter of) breast pain can be completely resolved if the patient will go for a re fitting and get new bras. I have seen 4 or 5 women's pain completely resolve with 2 months "off" from their old, poorly fitting brassieres... Theresa Bartos, DO Ludington, MI

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
