fromsbnh@giasbg01vsnl.net.in dr sita bhateja. gynaecologist at sbnh and st martha's hospital bangalore.i have seen quite a few cases of mastodynia.cause could not be found. i also stopped their cafine intake and passive smoking. it was of no help. i found out it was due to sucking of the breast during sexual intercourse. that led to this painful condition. stopping of sucking did the trick.i do not mean to say that the couple should not enjoy the sex act but maybe they should stop for a while and minimise it to make it comfortable for the lady .they have a choice. i hope to hear further from others about their experience.thanks.sita.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
