I began using it exclusively about 3 months ago. Universally, no matter how aggressive I was with the little "paint brush", all my results came back with no endocervicals. I hear that shortly we will be able to use an endocervical brush with this new technology, therefore increasing the return of endocervical sampling. Until then, I have stopped using them and have gone back to the traditional pap (spatula and brush/two slides)

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
