Preimplantation Testing for KellFrom: Pollard, Jeffrey (Jeffrey.Pollard@CRHA-Health.Ab.Ca)Mon Apr 28 08:37:58 1997
I recently consulted on a couple who is about to undergo IVF. The future mother has anti-K 1:1024, and the father is heterozygous (Kk). Since Kell phenotype testing is available from amniotic fluid samples, I am curious if preimplantation testing for K has been performed yet. My cursory scroll through medline revealed nothing. Thanks. Jeff Jeffrey K. Pollard,MD Maternal-Fetal Medicine University of Calgary jeffrey.pollard@crha-health.ab.ca

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
