Re[2]: A case of cervical pregnancyFrom: YankowitzJ@obgyn-po.obgyn.uiowa.eduSun Apr 27 17:02:04 1997
Other suggestions in addition to large Foley to stop the bleeding include placing a cerclage if anatomically applicable. Was that enough MTX? Dose seemed alittle low. Excellent review of cervical pregnancies in Obstet Gynecol Surv a few years back. First author Yankowitz, J {Couldn't resist, sorry ;)} Good luck, Jerry Yankowitz Univ of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Clinical Genetics (not many recent papers on ectopic or MTX)

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
