The age limit was apparently 55 and she let them believe she was 50. She became pregnant on the second cycle. At about 12 weeks gestation she revealed her true age to her obstetrician. Her pregnancy was complicated by diet controlled diabetes and hypertension treated with bedrest. She delivered by cesarean in November of 1996 at 38 weeks a 6#2oz baby. She is now believed to be the oldest woman ever to have given birth.>> Well, she technically was a surrogate mother, right? So all that means is that an RE guy with a little care can get ANYONE pregnant. And further, no matter what your age, an MFM guy can get you through it. Of course, as you get older, you also have more of a chance of involving the CANCER doc... LOL Joe P.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
