Re: 63 years old and pregnantFrom: Birthctr@aol.comFri Apr 25 02:02:04 1997
In a message dated 97-04-24 22:13:50 EDT, you write:
<< >Sure do! Why is the age limit 55? What this means is that junior is
bringing a 73 year old mom to his/her high school graduation, if in fact
she lives that long. Does anyone else see this as selfish and cruel?
As I heard on NPR today, "Is it right for us to be allowing the creation
of a generation of orphans?"
There needs to be more regulation in this area.
>> Tony Randall, who is older than dirt just became a father for the first time a week or so ago. The media is showing him as studly, not selfish and cruel. So does the gender of the elderly parent change our perceptions? If so, that's bias also.......sic 'em Dr. Wooley. :) Marguerite Epstein L.M. Fort Lauderdale, FL

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
