Try this: pre-med with nsaid (your favorite). Paracervical block in office 30 mins later. Novak curette (the one with the ugly teeth up front). Drag the darn thing out. It may come out sideways. Office procedure. It worked for me many times. Worked for loops, coils and the Madzlin spring (remember that?) Good luck.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
