Dear listers:

A good friend with no Internet Connection asked me for send this question to the list:

They have a case of fetal hydrops due to fetal tachycardia. They tried oral digital for mother with no results. They have read something about parenteral digital for mother. And also about cord digital direct to the fetus.

The papers are no available because are present only in the librery of a city in Spain and they are difficult of getting.

Please, anyone has experience on it? Anyone can tell us about dose and side effects for mother? the cardiologyst is very afraid about it.

Thank you in advance.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
