Regarding rmarts8499@aol.com ... the apparent 14-year-old girl who has somehow gotten herself subscribed to the ob-gyn-l and a midwife list, and now wishes for everyone to stop sending her mail ...

When a direct e-mail to the person involved fails, the situation can often be resolved by contacting the domain postmaster (e.g., postmaster@aol.com) and requesting that s/he intervene. The postmaster will then contact the subscriber (or her parents, in this case) and assist in correcting the problem.

This works nicely for spammed or harassing e-mail, also. Just skip the part about contacting the offending individual directly, and go right to the postmaster.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
