Re: Stress and PregnancyFrom: hldnsj@top.monad.netMon Mar 31 09:09:47 1997
Speaking strictly from my own experience with conception and the medical profession, (no references to cite here, sorry...) I would like to point out that stress is probably not the only factor influencing conception. The bizarre hours that we work--up for 26 hours, sleep for 4, up for 6 hours...you know what I mean...this can influence hormones and ovulation as well. Combine this with the stress, and whaddya have? A menstrual cycle. 2¢ thrown into the pot. Julie in NH @~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@ <hldnsj@top.monad.net>

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
