All right. I'd never even pretend to have put in the hours, as an RN, that you gluttons-for-punishment do as residents, MDs, CNMs, etc. However,... I work nights, and I usually do about 65+ hours in a week straight so I can have myself 6 days off in a row to get on a normal schedule with the family. My first night off, I just never go to bed when I get home. (No sense wasting time off, right? Though by the time I DO go to bed that night, I don't quite have all the dots on my dice, so to speak.) A couple weeks ago on my first night off I was passing out on the couch and turned and said something to my 4 year old daughter. My husband said, "WHAT did you just say?".... and I startled awake to realize I had just asked her "What time didja say your water broke?" Ha! Happy Easter all--Tina Bloom RN Portland OR

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
