Ingrid, You could probably make a good argument for recommending hysterectomy and BSO to her in light of her family history (suggesting lynch family II?). As a minimum based on the literature, I would suggest ca125 and transvaginal US at least yearly when ca-125 in normal range and every 6 months if rising. Keep in mind false positives seen with endometriosis, leiomyoma, liver problems etc.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
