If you have a hysteroscope available in the office, the cervix and upper vagina should easily be visible. A biopsy should be easy also. Course, if something is there then what? At least there would be a diagnosis.

I have used a laparoscope for excellent visualization of the vagina in a very young girl for a suspected foreign body, but that required hospital general anesthesia because of her age and apprehension.
