This is a form of long-acting progesterone given monthly usually soon after the menses. My assumption is that it is just a low dose of depoprovera. It is a very popular form of contraception amongst my patients in the LA area who drive to Tijuana to get it. --James Grove, MD, Bellflower, CA.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
