recently had a 25 yo G1P1 seen in teh office for severe dysparunia occuring with recent intercourse. ROS negative, no dc, bleeding, dysuria. Upon exam bluish area on both vaginal sidewalls approx. 3cm inwidth extending from cervix to vestibule. Nontender, no other evidence of trauma and pt denies abuse, foreign objects, ect. Instructed pt nothing per vagina and return in one week. Exam essentially unchanged. Biopsy performed. blue area essentialy diappeared with minimal bleeding. Biopsy reveals hemangioma. Patient recently called stating affected area now bigger and more painful. Any thoughts on treatment. thomas m. jones,md

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
