Re: any idea???From: Tony Blair (antoineb@quebectel.com)Sun Mar 9 15:27:01 1997
Dear listmembers, I need some sugggestions for this problem: 14 yo white female patient, menarche at 12. Never had sex. Have vulvodynia since two yr. Very intense vulvar pruritus, day and night. This young girl is very comprehensive and collaborative. Cannot tolerate this symptom anymore... -exam is negative (hymen intact) -cultures are negatives: no fungus -no chemical: soap, lotion, perfumes, etc -tried : antifungals (empirically) and steroids creams; topical estrogen or testosterone; Elavil with no result at all... Any idea on the etiology of this vulvar itching. What else to try/to do ? Thanks for your attention
