Re: C/S rates in the USFrom: ATB28@aol.comWed Mar 5 10:20:08 1997
In a message dated 97-03-05 10:12:52 EST, DoctorJoe@aol.com writes: << because he sectioned ONE OF THE TWO PATIENTS he had delivered under that plan >> Joe, most of the plans I deal with don't even consider rates for individual providers who do less than 25-50 deliveries. It's encouraging that there is some reliance on statistical relevance. On the other hand, I've reviewed (as an external consultant) where individuals DO have C/S rates > 50%, and with substantial #'s. Appalling. Allan

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
