A Mrs, Carney (read Blarney) called our office to say our "allotment" of Surgical Gloves was going to be 4-5 days late, "would that be okay" .... I got the call as principal in charge of purchasing (CFO)... They said they were Alpha Medical from Colorado and our allotment of gloves is late.... what they meant was if we said it was okay that would constitute an order... after some questioning they hung up saying I didn't understand my "allotment"... I said I was born at night, not last nite, I understand... We recommend this policy: "We accept no phone solictations" In this case it was tuff to tell it was one! Mark Lawson Texas

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
