She is a G5P4 with last preganancy 22 mo. ago. With the third pregnancy, she had a previa and palcenta accreta and was delivered by c/s. She hemorrhaged at delivery and required 4 units of blood. The first two pregnancies were normal with no complications. She stated that her OB told her that" when he opened her up, placental vessels were right there", so I have to assume she actually had a perccreta. She will be coming into the office on Monday so any information anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
