I used Vicryl on a small series of cases and had to repeat at least 1 of those urethropexys on a fiery local judge who weighed 250lbs, banged her gavel too hard one day and busted her stitches. When she told me the story, she made the whole thing sound quite humorous (thank god), while I was wondering which malpractice firm I would be using.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
