Question: Since this lady obviously has some functional endometrial tissue, does she need effective contraception at this point? I believe that most of the ablation experts recommend that a tubal be performed at the time of endometrial ablation, unless, of course, she already has a tubal. I am not aware of case reports of pregnancy after ablations, but the potential complications are numerous.
