What suture do you (oops--ya'll) use when performing open abdominal retropubic urethropexies such as MMKs and Burchs? Permanent or absorbable or delayed absorbable? Do you try to get the periurethral tissue approximated to Cooper's ligament or the bone, or do you leave a suture bridge (maybe depending on whether permanent or absorbable suture is used)?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
