The initial problem seems to be the prolapsing fibroid (we say fibrome accouche par le col = delivered through the cervix). It can be removed during a simple exam through bistournage (pulling & twisting). If you think it can bleed you can try to tie a knot on the fibroid's implantation site under anesthesia. For the rest TAH after irontherapy. But if she's relable & smart & OK with it you can perform the TAH at once.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
