Actually, this brings up a point that I have wanted to discuss. As the Internet and this list becomes more and more popular the number of messages is getting quite large. Between Friday at 5:00 PM and Sunday at 1:00 PM (1/17-1/19) I received 100+ messages, most from the OB/GYN-l. Where will this end, do we have statistics of the numbers/day or week? It would be interesting to see an ASCII * graph of the increased useage over the last year or two. I am actually thinking about unscribing from the list and just doing searches of the WEB archive and Forums for Sonography and Ultrasound to find those that interest me. However, this will not let me enjoy the intimacy, immediacy and variety of topics that are such a wonderful part of the list. I fear that the success of this medium will make it impossible to follow much longer, in this form. Soon we will talk about the good 'ol days when messages were zipped back and forth on a hourly basis. One thing that might help is a more judicial use of the blanket mailings (list spam ? ;-) Perhaps if we would simply reply to the individual when appropriate rather than the entire list. Of course, again we loose the random opinion that might be relevant. Any suggestions? Peace, Terry J. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
