The hospital where I work in recently switched to a new(cheaper)IUPC. The previous IUPC(Intran Plus) was great, a little pricey but very dependable. The nurses are having a problem getting a reading with the new cath.(i think its called Koala) I also have had a problem with it kinking, I'm concerned a kink could create a sharp edge. I would like to know it anyone else is using this product, and any information on it or problems.

Thanks

Jack

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
