Re: Length of Stayyyyyyyyyy!From: A.P. VAN DER COLF (rvdcolf@iwwn.com.na)Wed Jan 15 06:16:54 1997
normal delivery (no complications): same day, at the most next day (never less than 12 hrs). primips tend to stay another day, esp. if episiotomy was done. c/sect: day 3-4 post-op. I still can't find the reason for day 3, but it works. high-risk cases (eg. PET, abruptios, etc. are discharged when we are clinically satisfied) i think a lot depend on the patient's social circumstances and care at home. rvdcolf@iwwn.com.na windhoek, namibia (africa - for those who don't know) ---------- From: Michel Briex[SMTP:mbriex@alienor.fr] Sent: Tuesday, January 14, 1997 22:02 To: Multiple recipients of list Subject: Length of Stayyyyyyyyyy! The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
