Questions??

1. At the time of the 2nd CSection (the classical), was the rupture of the first LCT CSection able to be adequately repaired or was the lower segment just thin transparant tissue? Does it matter? (It must). (Gotta get the previous op note).

2. As a side issue in addition to the primary query regarding the risks with continuing this pregnancy, what is the added risk of uterine rupture at the time of an abortion at 9-10wks with a previous ruptured LCT CSection followed by a Classical CSection? Presumably far lower risk than the risk of rupture at term?

Best of Luck

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
