I've lost the original post and can't exactly remember the blood pressure readings. I don't have a problem delivering her, but would like to see the diagnosis pinned down a little better. Using an increase in blood pressure of 30 mmHg systolic or 15 diastolic, or a mean arterial pressure of 105 may also help with the diagnosis of mild preeclampsia (damn, I wish I had that first post!). I'm not too impressed with her (yet) but have also seen patients like this with thrombocytopenia and/or "HELLP" syndrome. I'm curious to see what happens. Thanks, Ashley D. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
