This is unfortunate. I understand that there is considerable expense in developing the opinions (which I've found to be balanced and well "qualified" by the literature to not be too interventional for most small hospitals). But they have come to be the de facto standard for obstetric care, and are not available except as an extraordinarily expensive individual subscription for those who are not eligible for ACOG membership. In fact, I've yet to see even a University Library shelve them, perhaps due to the issue above.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
