Am I wrong? > Antonio Valdez-Torres MD FACOG > Hospital Guernika > Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico well I do find atb I should follow in 2 people a year out of 200..usually 240 deliveries a year. seems that is my pick up rate on unknowns. I get 1-2 people a year with known atb that may devleop serious HDN. I pick up a fair number of innocuous atb's that do not cause HDN so the 2 people I pick up as previous unknowns has to do with atb types thaty may develop HDN. Is it cost effective?? so far no one has had to have a transfusion though I have had to do serial amnio's a few times in 7-8 years in my current practice. every one else had low atb titers on serial screens that I was not compelled to check amnios on them. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
