Actually, according to the book it means "smiley sticking its tongue out (at you!)" :-)-O

:-)-O is my own personal contribution to the smileys, even acknowledged by the man in an interview with the Wall Street Journal :-)-O.

The authoritative source is of course:

David W. Sanderson (ed.), Smileys, O'Reilly & Associates, Sebastopol, CA. 93 pages. ISBN 1-56592-041-4. Price $5.95 (US).

You can even get in in a German translation.

I found a very nice server:

http://www.atcom.co.at/atcom/smiley.htm

look on the shelf.

I haven't found one that you can query, though :-)-O

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
