I will post their phone numbers tomorrow. I recall 100 mg/day also, but seem to recall 200 mg/day for the cyclic regimen. The few patients on it instead of MPA, usually due to MPA side effects, are happy. I have a couple of folks who desire natural hormones (not yams and such) and prefer the estadiol and MP from the pharmacies. I have one woman in whom we have fine tuned her estrogen/progesterone and testosterone to avoid acne, recover sex drive, and avoid terrible GI upset that even the patches gave her. These cost much more than traditional therapy, roughly $80 monthly versus around $40, but for those who need it, they are happy.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
