Re: Episiotomy vs No EpisiotomyFrom: HMarchbein@aol.comMon Dec 30 20:33:40 1996
Wasn't there a series (in the last year) of excellent review articles in the Survey about short and long term advantages of reduction in episiotomy rate and allowing labial lacerations and first degree lacerations instead of routine episiotomies? Seemed very compelling literature (but then again, I read Mac computer magazines and Star Trek books when I'm not "doing" journals). Harvey Harvey S. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
