Ovarian Workshop in Houston 1998?From: Jeffrey W. Clemens (clemens@duq2.cc.duq.edu)Mon Dec 30 09:25:42 1996
Listers, Serono Symposia, USA has sponsored the Ovarian Workshop for a number of years. This meeting is held every other year prior to and in the same locale as the Society for the Study of Reproduction (SSR) meeting. The next Workshop is to be held in 1998 and the SSR meeting is scheduled for College Station, TX. The organizing committee has asked for input re: the site. Would any of the list participants be more or less likely to be interested in this symposia if it were held in Houston Med Center instead of College Station? Although this will likely be a random and unscientific sampling, I would like to compile and forward any responses to the Organizing Committee. BTW, any particular topics that the list might suggest as themes for the meeting? In your daily practices, what part of the ovarian "black box" is the blackest? The 1996 meeting was focused (or unfocused, given the breadth of the topics) on ovarian cell growth, apoptosis, and cancer. Thanks for your input. Jeff (a repatriated Northerner who enjoyed being an expatriate in Houston for 5 year+, so yes, I have a not so clearly hidden "agenda")

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
