Hello! I am a young resident in OBS/GYN field, I come from Taiwan, and I wish this wonderful web-site will live forever! But today, I want to ask a question about one of my patient, she is a victim of end-stage uterine lymphomy with abdominal lymph nodes metastasis. Severe ascites was found and may be due to lymph excess from nodes. Conservative managements were done but still not work well. So I want to know is there any new way for such a patient to keep their life quality? And I have a strange idea , could we use peritoneal-CVP shunt to alleviate this problem? Thanks for every one who look this message.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
