The tracing may have nothing to do with an intrapartum problem. Thinking this case over I am wondering if it is possible to say you got a good baby. Maybe 9 or 10 years from now you can say that. That is why I think your decision is so correct. Good Apgars may not always mean a "good baby". Yes it's alive and by all present measurements it seems normal. But wait...the plaintiff's bar does. If the baby has developmental problems down the line your decision will look even better.
