Thinking this case over I am wondering if it is possible to say you got a good baby. Maybe 9 or 10 years from now you can say that. That is why I think your decision is so correct. Good Apgars may not always mean a "good baby". Yes it's alive and by all present measurements it seems normal. But wait...the plaintiff's bar does. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
