Well, I am a doctor, and as a doctor, I am well aware (as are most of my colleagues in the world of patient care) of the pitfalls in spoon-feeding the young and impressionable. May I suggest that you spend an afternoon in your nearest library and research the topic. Some starting points: 1) Index Medicus; 2) Medline (if you have access through your library), or; 3) Cunningham, et al., Williams Obstetrics, 19th Edition, Appleton & Lange, 1993.

Good luck! _____________________________________________________

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
