Speculums

Our sterilizer is breaking down. We are looking at ways to avoid having to
sterilize speculums. One place I worked simply cleaned the specs carefully
and dropped them into a bleach solution overnight, rinsed them in the
morning and used them.
The other alternative is plastic specs. I hate them, but may have to go
that route. What do you do? Looking for some cost effective alternatives.
