The failure rate reported up-there is the one reported by the firm Roussel-Uclaf (RU) and is considered as the official one. We do use all kinds of PG, now mainly we use Cytotec®. I don't think human cost is lower for a woman who is waiting for several days for her fetus to vanish instead of having a D&C. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
