Re: Sudden hysterectomyFrom: bclaure (bclaure@club-internet.fr)Wed Dec 11 15:22:34 1996
Dear colleagues For obstetrical sudden hemmorrhage a complementary procedure can be useful in case of sub-total hysterectomy or after arterial ligations before the hysterectomy. It was able to allow uterine conservation in acase of "placenta accreta" See: Cristalli B, Levardon M, Izard V, Cayol A, Padding of the uterine wall in severe obstetrical hemorrhage J Gynecol Obstet Biol Reprod (Paris) 20: 6, 851-4, , 1991.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
