Ovarian cyst and pregnancyFrom: Ana C. Cunha (kimle@mithlond.esoterica.pt)Wed Dec 11 08:33:44 1996
Summary: Teenager 20 weeks pregnant. At first ultrasound, 12 weeks, there was a ovarian mixed tumor suggestive of being a dermoid cyst, with 5.9 x 4.5 cm. The dimensions are the same at the 20 weeks scan. What would be your attitude in this case. Surgery or expectant? Thank you for your suggestions Ana Cristina Cunha Assistente Hospitalar de Ginecologia e Obstetricia Maternidade Julio Dinis Porto - Portugal http://www.geocities.com/hotsprings/3184/frames.html email: anacunha@geocities.com

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
