I think she is in risk of damage of her one good kidney. How is her renal function? Is normal? It is known that hipertension affects in some degree and in long term, the kidneys. So it should not be a good idea an overload of pressure in that lady. She is also in risk of developing a superimposed preeclampsia, and in great fetal risk (IUGR etc.). You will probably need combined therapy (beta-bloquers + calcium channel blockers)
