Hi The average CS rate in the country is between 12 & 14%. It's exactly that in my institution. The CS rate in the universitary hospitals of Paris is spreading from 7 to 25% depending on the special interest of the chief of dept of OB/GYN (more surgery = more CS). For the "securite sociale" (national social insurance) the maximum rate is 18%, above that your (private) institution earnes less money. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
