i don't think it is the position of the iud. i started using iud's when they first hit the market, used many different. many ob-gyns had the same exerience as you. if there is no infection, i think you must remove the iud, treat her with progestagens =estrogens, thickening her endometrium. she probably is not a candidate for an iud
