I don't use the abdominal scan for the first trimester, unless the patient don't accept this. About 90-95 % of the patient accept the transvaginal scan. The differences of those scan are enourmous and very grate, I think that don't are place for doubt about the quality of the transvaginal scan. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
