if the anaesthetist is using halothane, ask him to use a higer concentration than usual - it relaxes the uterus beautifully. wait until it is relaxed before you start making the LST incision. this usually works better than any of the usual drugs. use left hand to get head out of pelvis - the angle of pulling is more in line with uterine axis riaan vd colf rvdcolf@iwwn.com.na

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
