Perhaps things have changed but in 1972 I became a Fellow of ACOG by reciprocity with The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Contact ACOG and see if that is still possible. Also, by virtue of my MRCOG, FCOG(SA) and my training, I was allowed to take the American Boards without having to do a Residency in USA. This was about 4 years after I became FACOG. Maybe having done a Fellowship at UCLA and holding a faculty position made a difference. Contact ACOG and ABOG and see if reciprocity is still regocnized. Good luck and let us know what they say. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
